Orvieto is located at the center of Italy, on the border between Umbria, to which it belongs, Tuscany and Lazio. Built on top of steep rocks tuff, has always been a city majestic and fascinating. Its strengths are its location and charm of small town art on a human. It was Etruscan city among the most important. The Medieval and Renaissance have designed the city in its key features. Inside you can admire the masterpieces by Luca Signorelli, who painted The Stories of the Antichrist, the Finimondo, the Resurrection of Meat, The Elected and I Reprobi, and a spectacular universal judgement in the Chapel of San Brizio, while Fra Angelico has decorated with angels sails of the ceiling. Begun in 1290, construction of the Cathedral lasted for several centuries.
